A puukko forged for a ‘Knife in the Hat’ exchange, in which everyone forges something to a certain theme. For this specific exchange, the restraint was to use only material lying around in the shop and would otherwise probably be discarded as scrap. For this blade, it is forged from other failed projects and cutoffs forge-welded together, a piece of copper bus, and scrap wood and leather.
